Fuck this bullshit. If this were a black person acting in this manner, aint no-one would have thought to juxtapose philosophy, not even BLACK philosophy with her expressions and sure as fuck it would not have been this popular and reported on the news. Instead it would be a goddamn joke and a meme and shit about the bringing down the race would be uttered. What happened to Antoine Dobson, huh? The rape of his sister got lost in ALLLLLL the laughing at his method of expressing himself that took place from both blacks and everyone else. A bunch white kids made money off a song mocking his tirade against the rapist of his sister. And Antoine had to smartly get the money off it to move his family to a new neighbourhood and get on with his life. With VERY FEW PEOPLE addressing the fact that HIS SISTER GOT RAPED or very nearly did! Nevermind talking about the classism inherent to the way we responded to the story. And this white child and her family’s performance of working class blackness are allowing them to laugh alllll the way to the bank, AND allows them being used as cultural critique on US society to hell.
