News 12 video of 13 year old black child getting hit by an unmarked police car in Hempstead, NY.

Nassau County police insist that it was accident or a “possible brake failure” but witnesses say their phones were confiscated and the police told them to fuck off and that what they saw didn’t matter. Some witnesses even say they heard the car accelerate before it hit him.

They refused to bring the child, Jaden Florence to the hospital to get treated until he was processed at the police station.

Coming from a town away and spending a lot of time with my family in this neighborhood, I am NOT surprised. Police have always treated latin@s and black people like shit and now for once it’s coming back to bite them in the ass.

I find myself doubting that the boy did anything. Because it would not surprise me, having lived in NYC and having a relative that lived in Long Island that the police would just run a boy down on a bike just for being Black and in their sight. 

Seriously, a thirteen year old kid. I just…that’s a KID dudes, not even really a teenager. A kid. That’s, like, seventh grade maybe or eighth. These asshole cops ran down a MIDDLE SCHOOL CHILD.
