I feel like I should write a proper post about doctors, google, and self diagnosis. 

So I can just link to it every time it comes up. 

I’ve been a professional researcher before. 

I go/went to a school with one of the biggest academic libraries in NA (and the third largest in Canada). (and my school gives alumni access to their resources) and I now live in a city with the third largest academic library in NA (which does give public access). 

When I decide to research a medical something or other. I start with google. Then I move onto medical databases and read the clinical research on it. 

And this doesn’t even touch on the classist, racist, and other ish from the medical industrial complex.
