why do i keep reading posts in the azealia banks tag that have a disclaimer or a justification like, “this is not normally what i would post, i don’t like rap that much, but she’s such a cool person and a great rapper” or “people might assume something cos i like this song and she talks about money and pussy but i don’t care what people think, i like it anyway.”

you do not need to apologize for liking her, her shit is better than 99.9999% of the shit you listen to. you should be apologizing for all the shitty white dude neckbeard indie bands you like.
