Ann is that stuffy lady in the big fancy house, with the furniture you can’t touch, on the corner of the street that spews platitudes and neighborhood gossip and only says hi to you because it is “polite”

Michelle is the cool mom that plays with her kids and knows the name of everyone on the block. She is that person you can talk to when you were too scared to tell your parents something.

Also, Michelle still has the best arms in politics.

Yeah. If you could take all that’s really evil and hypocritical about rich white folks and shove it into one woman, that’d be Ann Romney. Seriously. She just has that…look. That “I believe in the version of White Jesus that tells me to hate the most people in the most oppressive ways” look. Like, if instead of creating a Stepford Wife with no will, you created a Stepford Wife with NO ABILITY TO EMPATHIZE WITH THE MAJORITY OF HUMANITY. 

Michelle Obama looks like a real person to me. She looks like a really wonderful woman who seems like she’d be great to have as a friend. And no, I don’t agree with all that she or her husband have done. But she doesn’t strike me as being a person who’s evil. Maybe not perfect, but what I see is a really spectacular woman who I’m proud to call our First Lady. And I hope I get to do it for four more years.
