I feel like there’s an even simpler flow chart for this sort of thing.  Did this person tell you what their preferred pronouns are -> Yes -> Use those pronouns  Did this person tell you what their preferred pronouns are -> No -> Find an appropriate, non-invasive way to ask And that’s it.  If someone says “these are my pronouns, this is what I want to be called” you FUCKING WELL CALL THEM THAT AND KEEP YOUR OPINIONS OF IT TO YOURSELF. People have the right to be the ultimate authorities on their own identity and if someone says, especially when it comes to things like pronouns, “this is what I prefer”, you take that as LAW and you don’t deviate from it, NO MATTER WHAT YOUR FEELS ARE, OKAY? That said, I also would like to offer my blessings to this post.
