minisparks is getting a pedicure. She is also getting a foot massage and watching the Olympics.

She just said everything was perfect. Me and the pedicurist laughed.

Another person begging online for non-essential material goods for their kid because they’re too poor, on medicaid, on food stamps, blah blah blah, to afford these things for their child, and then letting said child be photographed getting a pedicure.

I just can’t believe that the people who make shit up about me are this hypocritical.

Look here you simple ass mother fucker. If this woman didn’t reach into your pocket and take your money . I need you to sit all the way the fuck down for I get actually angry.

I don’t know what kin eating hellhole you were spawned in , but where I come from?

We love and support our babies.

We want them to be as much as they can, and we don’t sit and fucking endorse the idea that just cause they aren’t rich , means their lives should be absent of all joys and pleasures.

That’s an elite young gymnast with feet that get abused and a busted ankle.

So yeah I have no fucking problem with them getting an pedicure and POSTING A DAMN PICTURE OF IT TO THE COMMUNITY THAT HELPED MAKE IT HAPPEN YOU JUDGEMENTAL CLASSIST FUCK.

Oh and how bout this my next pay check . I’m paying for it , so it’s no skin out of your poken in the middle of where you need not fucking be ridiculous nose .

Next time I am 20 bucks ahead, I’m chipping in so she can get another pedi if she likes them.

There is this idea that anyone who is poor or otherwise just strapped for cash must use every available cent for necessities and nothing but necessities. Anything softer, anything pleasant - anything that is nice and lovely gets denied to them, like some sort of punishment for not having buckets of cash.

This child is having what is obviously a special moment. I have no idea why anyone would want to begrudge her that, no matter where the money came from. Why would I be upset if my dollars went to help create this experience for this kid who works so hard?

That’s some kind of bullshittery.

I’m with the above commenters. Next time I’ve got some spare dollars, I’d like to put into the “get this wonderful child another pedicure/foot massage” fund.

I think the reason these things piss people like you off so badly is that because when you see communities supporting people, it takes away that much more control people like you have to say “if you’re poor, you have to be miserable and live with nothing that makes you happy until you get rich or get dead”. Must just burn you to see, even if it’s just for this moment, someone a little freer of the system that privileges you.

Fuck you, always-banned. Fuck you with all the cutlery in the drawer.
