Have you ever tried a water bed? My father has a seriously messed up back (motorcycle accident) and it’s one of the only things that he can sleep comfortably on.

I know I’m way too poor to get a water bed right now and most of my friends are also pretty unable to afford something that pricy.

I would get rich friends so I could sleep on their water beds but then I’d have to put up with them opening their rich fuckjaw wordholes and saying stupid shit to me about my situation.

Weird. I had a water bed for five months (I think it was stolen. I was 14, didn’t ask questions). That thing killed my back and then almost killed me with pneumonia and then almost drowned me.

Holy fuck, that doesn’t sound like a healthy bed at all. D:

It popped when it almost drowned you, didn’t it?

That is exactly what happened. This bed was not at all good for me. From there I moved to a futon with a really thin mattress and you could feel the bars underneath and <3. I loved that bed.

Since every sleeping surface wants to break you I wonder if you’re able to essentially blanch yourself before bed. Well, not blanch. Boiling is usually bad for humans. Warm yourself up or get your muscles as loose as possible some other way and then be not so warm quickly afterwards. Showers work for some people, stretching in warm clothes works for others.

Or you could just, y’know, buy a private plane and find a really good acupuncturist.

I would need to suck a lot of dick and rob a lot of banks (at the same time) to get the sort of cash I’d need for a private plane and a really good acupuncturist. D:

I might just do the hot bath shit before sleeping. Maybe I just need to sleep upside down in some freaky alien moth cocoon or something.

Not to be advice giving, but I have back issues and (I don’t know what yours specifically are), but I’ve had good luck with a trusty heating pad and putting pillows under/around me in the right positions when things hurt. That may or may not be helpful to you, but a heating pad is somewhat affordable if you can access an electric outlet close enough to you.

I think I have a heating pad somewhere but its buried in my stuff that’s stored in Lady Cyclone’s garage or in the stuff in my trunk. Most of my pillows are too actually.

I got skeleton crew sort of stuff right now since I’m still doing the crashing in places I might have to vacate quick thing.

Aww. *hugs* (if wanted). Yeah. Helping with back issues is kind of hard when stuff is scattered and not easily available.

I’ll send vibes for healing and pain relief and good, restful sleep your way. Maybe a few will get there and be helpful. :/
