Apparently a group of Girl Scouts is trying to spearhead a boycott of Girl Scout cookies (usually sold around this time of year) because of a troop in Colorado admitting a young transgender girl earlier this year.  Something about the ~integrity~ of GSUSA, danger for children, blah blah, more of the usual bigoted bullshit you hear in situations like this.

I don’t know anyone in the Girl Scout program, but if you do and you have the money, please buy cookies this year - even if you don’t usually.  Hell, even if you do’t want to eat them yourself, you probably have a friend or family member who’d appreciate some Thin Mints or something.  How fucking awesome would it be for the year that closed-minded assholes try to boycott cookies to be a record year for sales from people who don’t buy into that way of thinking?
